Abstract

Abstract: This service was carried out in Pangeng Village, Simpang Tritip, West Bangka. Pangek Village has commodity-based tourism potential, namely beautiful stone hills planted with many durian trees. This hill has long been dormant or poorly cared for by the community for the past four years. With the appointment of educational tourism in Bukit Batu is an added value for Pangek Village so that it will have a positive impact on the economy of the local community. The objectives of this service include (1) Reactivating the potential of durian in Pangeng Village, (2) Community awareness training in developing educational tourism attractions, (3) Providing recommendations for the management of educational tourism and sustainable tourism to the management of Pangek Village tourist destinations. The community service methods applied include observation, training, and mentoring. Community participation is considered not optimal in tourism development. The results of the training with 30 respondents 70% of the community realized the importance of processing durian educational tourism by providing training and assistance according to community needs in managing and developing tourism, then promoting to increase interest in durian tourism.
